YPWeek is a weeklong platform for discovery, adventure and meaningful conversations about the issues that matter among young professionals in the area. YPWeek brings together key leaders in the community, at purposefully chosen locations that integrate the unique cultural assets with meaningful learning or social interaction. The activities engage the millennial workforce in activities and experience that are important to them while educating employers on the important role these functions play in retaining their workforce.

The 2016 lineup features 150+ events occurring in 15 cities across the state. In Kenosha, YLink has planned five engaging and unique programs. See the following:

Volunteer for Dairy State Cheese & Beer Fest – VOLUNTEER NEEDS FILLED
April 23 | 1:00-5:00 p.m. | The Brat Stop
Volunteer activity for YPs to help raise funds to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha via their annual fundraiser and social.

Trivia on Tap – SOLD OUT!
April 26 | 5:30-8:30 p.m. | Public Craft Brewing Co.
Team-based trivia night and social event highlighting unique, local microbrewery.

Behind the Scenes: Kenosha Creative Space
April 27 | 5:30-8:30 p.m. |Fusion
Virtual tour and discussion of the potential impact and preliminary design plans for the Kenosha Creative Space, presented by project architect Ryan Tretow of TRETOW, LLC.

Style & Branding – Creating Professional Image through Fashion
April 28 | 5:30-8:30 p.m. | Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets
Professional workshop and mini fashion show on building a work-appropriate wardrobe, hosted by Bon-Ton Stores Style expert Jordan Dechambre. Register yourself and bring one guest for FREE. 

Streetcar Takeover: The State of the Downtown
April 29 |11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Streetcar departs from stop at McCarthy Transit Center, 54th St. & 8th Ave.
Lunch hour workshop hosted on the streetcar, featuring an overview of the state of the downtown, presented by Downtown Kenosha Executive Director Christopher Naumann. Free event.
