Community Engagement Committee
Margaret Mead once said, “Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Need proof? Consider what Y-Link’s Community Engagement Committee is doing for Kenosha.
We’ve supported organizations and initiatives such as Women and Children’s Horizons, Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha, Readers are Leaders, Children’s Service Society of Wisconsin and the Kenosha Literacy Council. And the list keeps growing every year.
The Community Engagement Committee facilitates collaboration among young professionals and area non-profits and other organizations in need of volunteer support. Our purpose is to build stronger connections across the community and affect positive change by coordinating events that help YPs give back to Kenosha. Here’s how we’re making an impact. Whether it be handing out water to runners at a 5K Charity Run/Walk or sorting donations at a local shelter, we offer our time and energy to build on what makes Kenosha great.
