Professional Development

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee serves as a miniature think tank, working to help catapult YPs up the career ladder, and engage businesses, organizations and educational institutions in their efforts to attract and retain talent in the area. In a nutshell, Professional Development is here to help create (and keep) rockstars in the Kenosha community.

Professional Development series and events open the doors for Kenosha’s emerging leaders. Whether you’re looking to move into the corner office, pull up a seat at the board room table or sharpen your leadership skills – our programming can help you reach your goals. Learn more about how you can advance your career through these professional development opportunities:

Leadership Forum Series

What’s more inspiring than hearing firsthand the success stories of prominent Kenosha-area leaders and their rise to the top? Or maybe you’re looking to have a discussion around improving your leadership skills. Either way – this successful series is a must for all young professionals. FYI: Our leadership forums are typically held bright and early. (Yes, coffee and breakfast are included.)

Food for Thought Workshops

To advance, you have to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with the material. Professional development workshops let you do just that. These in-depth workshops are an opportunity to learn new skills relevant to personal growth and employer needs.
